- The JAVA virtual machine is the basis for system independence so that
- the JAVA language itself seems to be superfluous(except of course that its
- oh-so-utterly-profoundly-cool grammer and semantics will become the basis for a
- yapr (yet another pointless religion)).
- It would be nice to have a C or C++ to JAVAVM(pronounced "ja va voom")
- translator so that I could make portable executables from my C++ code. How big
- a deal is it to retarget the gnu C compiler(this is not an offer)?
